Rahfish announces the official launch of the GBay Team Series on Georgian Bay, sponsored by Leadbetter Foods. Coming summer 2024
Rahfish announces the launch of their new team tournament series on Georgian Bay, ON. Year one of the series consists of four bass fishing tournaments, including a two day Classic. Anglers will need to fish the first three tournaments for a chance at qualifying for the Classic in September. Each tournament will be hosted in different areas of Georgian Bay, at both privately owned marinas and town docks.
Established in 2011 in Ontario, Rahfish is an outdoor apparel brand, and offers a wide range of premium clothing to anglers across North America. From your new lucky fishing hat, to a comfortable hoodie for the fall, Rahfish has been outfitting anglers from coast to coast for more than a decade. The tournament component that they have been building started with consumer demand, and continued for the love of bass fishing on Georgian bay.
“This tournament series has been in the works for quite a while now”, says Tim Hine Owner of Rahfish. “We’ve been running one tournament each year for the past 4 years, which is the Rahfish Open. Prior to 2019, the tournament was hosted at a private cottage with a similar feel to it. However, the expansion from Open to Series, allows the anglers further opportunity to compete in three single day events, compile enough points and qualify for the Classic in September. Hosted by the Honey Harbour Boat Club, these anglers will complete for a first place Classic prize of $10,000.”
Adding to the excitement of this newly formed series, Rahfish has partnered with Leadbetter Foods as the title sponsor of the series. Leadbetter Foods and Rahfish have agreed on a three year partnership, taking them to 2026.

Today, Leadbetter Foods is owned by Premium Brands, however the Leadbetter name and family ties continues with Adam Leadbetter, the Grandson of Bill, the founder of Leadbetters.

The Rahfish GBay Team Series sponsored by Leadbetter Foods kicks off next summer, with registration opening this December. Competing anglers will not only have the opportunity to win over $60,000 in cash and prizes, they’ll also have the experience of Leadbetter BBQ at every event!
