Toronto Spring Fishing Show Recap
It’s hard to believe that another year at the Toronto Spring Fishing and Boat Show has come and gone! Before we get into details about the weekend, we would like to sincerely thank EVERYONE who visited the show and wore their Rahfish gear! This was the first year we could truly say that we saw A LOT of Rahfish swag walking through those front doors!
It took the team the better part of 10 – 11 hours to set up the Rahfish booth this year. As we neared the finish of set up, we definitely lost the ability to make certain decisions, but we got through it and managed to finish up at 6:30 am the following day. It was a grind, to say the least!
Although set up may have taken to long, it was definitely appreciated by those of you who visited! We always try to offer that warm and welcoming feeling when you walk into our space, and by the sounds of it, we accomplished just that!
This was a bit of a launch party for our 2017 collection. We scrambled to make sure we had everything ready to go for the Toronto Spring Fishing and Boat Show, and we received all our new product just in time. Some of the biggest hits over the weekend, as far as hats goes; our NEW NORTHERN ORIGINAL – DARK HEATHER SNAPBACK, our NEW 2×2 CHARCOAL 7 PANEL, and of course our staple series of hats our RAHFISH BIG R TRUCKER – BLACK, RAHFISH BIG R TRUCKER – BROWN and RAHFISH BIG R TRUCKER HAT – GREEN.
Our hoodies once again knock it out of the park, with THE CLASSIC HOODIE and our BIG R GREY HOODIE really turning heads of those who appreciate comfort and quality!
Although a February show, our tees also made some noise! With our BIG R TEE – NAVY and our THE CLASSIC TEE – TAR getting scooped up by many anglers.
As we expected, the aftermath of the show is always time to play catch up! The reinventory of product and clean up aside, the spill over of online orders needed to be shipped out, as well as preparing for the next up coming show!
The Toronto Spring Fishing and Boat Show was only the beginning of the show season for us! Our next stop is the Bowmanville Swap Meet on March 12th. This show may only be a one day show, but it definitely one that you don’t want to miss! After the swap meet, we’ll be packing up and heading to the Toronto Sportsmen Show March 15th – 19th at the International Centre in Mississauga. That event was a giant last year and we expect no different this year! You can purchase tickets here.
2017 is only getting started, but yet it’s been jammed packed! But hey…maybe one of these days we’ll ACTUALLY be able to get some fishing done! HA
